Sustainability and GMO Foods is oxymoron no matter how you slice it and dice it

http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2012/05/consumers-trust-food-biotechnology-food-safety-survey-finds/

Really? I am all for sustainability but not through the use of GMO foods. Why are there so many more illnesses in children and adults today? Could this possibly be a part of the problem? You decide.

Not Surprising that TARP Funds are not being properly

http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2012/04/25/only-83-borrowers-used-fha-refi-program-watchdog/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxbusiness%2Feconomy+%28Internal+-+Economy+-+Text%29

This is exactly why there are still MILLIONS of underwater homeowners, who are on their way to foreclosure. Don't count on an economic recovery just yet! NO matter what hype you are being fed about consumer spending and confidence. There is still too much gray area to say that we are in recovery mode.

More Foreclosures.......

http://realtormag.realtor.org/daily-news/2012/04/02/next-foreclosure-wave-coming-reason-for-alarm

Interesting read. One day we are told that the economy is improving and the next we are told more financially distressed homeowners will be losing their homes. No one wins.  I would say that there is no reason for alarm but more compassion to those around us would go along way, as we have no idea what others are going through.

Wow! One minute things are recovering and the next they are not....

I don't want to be "Henny Penny the sky is falling" but please look at all of the information that is available. While there are many opportunities in Real Estate at this time, my only advise is to buy the home your really love and that will meet your families needs for at least 10 years.

Now it makes sense as to why the inventory is so low for traditional buyers

No suprise to me and several of my clients. While there are rules and waiting periods on Bank Owned properties and you were the seller wouldn't you want a cash purchaser instead of a 1st time homebuyer? Maybe the window needs to broadened so purchasers who are trying to make wise decisions have time? Just a thought.

Distressed Property Made up 25% of home sales in Clark County in 2011

From what I am seeing today at least the lenders are beginning to move out the inventory faster.

This is Good New for Many Buyers

Excellent news for many buyers who have run out of patience while waiting for confirmation that the home in short sale  CAN and WILL Close. Waiting 6 months for a lender to approve a short sale is ridiculous.

New School Coming to Clark County

Exciting news for Clark County. I can't wait to find out more about what this potential school might offer to our community.

Interesting Information about Property Value and Foreclosure Activities by Mortgage Lenders

While I am not sure about the logic behind this information. I find it interesting none the less.

Interesting Foreclosure Date

I am unsure how accurate this is. Sad that the Foreclosure problem is not seeing and improvement. Now there are states that were not on the top 10 list before, that now are.
